How to enter:

  • Think up a cool deal
    -Free something with purchase of something else
    -$X.xx off when you buy This and That at the same time
    -Free x-topping on any pizza

  • THINK UP THE BACK STORY OF HOW YOU CAME UP WITH THE DEAL. This is the important part.

  • Name it something cool.  This is the other important part.

  • Fill out the form below.  No required fields.
  • Near the end of the month, or the beginning of next month, we’ll pick the best of them, and make them real and live at our restaurants.
    -Really stupid deals, like a free large with everything with purchase of a cookie, will make you look stupid.  Be realistic.
    -Delivery deals reduce your chances by half.  We like dine-in better.
    -Cool back-story doubles your chances.
    -Cool deal name doubles your chances again.
    -No whining about our criteria for choosing deals.  It’s our restaurant.
    -If we want to alter your deal slightly, we can.  We’ll still give you credit.
  • We’ll email notices to the authors of the ones we’re going to go with, and list the deals on our site with all our other specials, but…
  • YOU GET THE WORD OUT ABOUT YOUR DEAL! Tell your FB friends, Tweet it, email it, send smoke signals, whatever.  Post links to our page with your deal on it.  The better you get the word out, and the better the deal is (and names / stories are more important than what the actual deal is, believe us) the more Matt the Barkeepuse you’ll get.

  • The deal that generates the most use after a month WINS. Winners announced and notified around the end of the month / beginning of next month.

  • So, well, of course we’re trying to leverage your social media contacts to further our agenda.  What a country!
  • We’ll use just your first name on our site if we use your deal.  If you don’t want us to use your real name, make up one.
  • Come up with a good deal, and you could win month after month!
  • Multiple entries welcome!
  • We reserve the right to pick any deal(s) we want, or to change the contest any time we want, any way we want.  You don’t like it?  Get your own pizza dive and slave away for a few decades like we have.

 

Wanna have a whack at the deal contest?

  • What's the name of your special/deal/discount? Cool names double your chances. Keep it clean.
  • What's the special/deal/discount? Don't be vague, too generous, or otherwise goofy or stupid.
  • How did you come up with it? Good back stories double your chances of getting picked. Keep it clean.
  • Is there some sort of time / date tied to it, like a lunch special or late night thing?
  • Optional, but we'd rather call you something other than "[email protected]"
  • If you don't give us your email, how are we going to tell you if you won? (We NEVER sell, rent, etc email addresses. We won't even sign you up for our email newsletter list with this address, unless you ask us to.)
  • Just so you know, we only send out e-letters a couple of times a year, and all the In Crowd is on the list.
  • (We won't call you unless you want us to. We hate that, too.)
